Export Market Development Grants

The Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) program, managed by Austrade, provides financial assistance to Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and their representative bodies to support their export marketing and promotional activities. The program offers grants across three tiers: Tier 1 for businesses ready to export, Tier 2 for those exporting within existing markets, and Tier 3 for businesses exporting to new key markets. Representative bodies that support SME members in achieving export success are also eligible for grants. The program aims to help Australian businesses increase their international presence and contribute to the broader benefits of the Australian economy.
